Both series are about High School gangs and both have a heroine who is very adept with her fists and has fighting skills to rival the men. Both have some violence and a love story between fighters. Hot blooded Woman is a lot longer series than Kill me Kiss me, therefore it is easier to have it show more intensity in the drama, character development and in the humour section as would be expected from a 24-volume-series vs. a 5-volume-series.
