When I first started reading Zombie Powder, it had that "Bang! Bang! Shoot-'em-up" Western feel. Trigun {all series} is also a Western-y manga. Both stories are set in the future. Both main characters have large bounties on their heads, with mysterious weapons and arms. However -- Trigun's main character, Vash, is a little more comedic than Gamma. They have the same stock characters {someone who follows them, their "partner in crime}, and I think if you like one, you'll definitely like the other.
