The MCs have multiple versions of themselves.
Both have deep philosophical story.
Good reads. Two thumbs up for both.
The protagonist in both manga have multiple versions of themselves.
In the case of Spirit Circle, these multiple personalities arise from reincarnation, whereas in Qualia, the MC can communicate with her personality in any parallel world.
Both MCs have also traveled through time in order to save someone.
Both manga are very philosophical and requires much active brain cells to understand it. Haha.
Spirit Circle and Purple Qualia both start off as fairly light fantasy, only to go way off the deep end into abstract sci-fi territory.
Both works deal with the idea of people having "multiple selves," though Spirit Circle uses a fantasy-style, spiritual depiction of "reincarnation," while Purple Qualia's interpretation of a single person existing in "parallel worlds" has harder sci-fi roots.
Spirit Circle is fairly comedic, has a focus on history (?) in addition to sci-fi, and has involved side-characters who change and "grow" as the protagonist relives his various reincarnations. Purple Qualia is slightly more serious, purer sci-fi, and focuses solely on the protagonist and her
