Both blur the line between enemies and allies/lovers, as there's romantic tension between the protagonist and antagonist. Both show the male protagonist fighting and yet also getting along with the female antagonist.
There's a mix of humor and normal everyday life alongside the magic, fantasy, and battles too. They both also essentially feature the male and female enemies on what are essentially dates too, even if they don't acknowledge it.
Fun side casts of characters too.
