Very similar. Both have a cute story with the main male character having an animal-like personality. There is romance and comedy in both. They are a must read :)

Both are very similar;
- School Shoujo Romance of the sweet kind
- Male main is a transfer student who lived in the wilderness before, thus not knowing/understanding many things
- Female main take care of them
- They start dating
Beast Master is more bloody, while in Boku wa Ookami he only bites someones hand once. Also, Beast Master is shorter.
