Both of these Manga revolve around a girl with powers to seal evil. There is a boy who appears to be a rival in the beginning but in the end, they both fight the evil together and fall in love. In CCS, sakura seals clowcards with the help of Kero, In Jeanne maron seals demons in paintings with help of Fin.

I picked these two because they are both about girls who are sent to save the world. They both lost their families and they even have their own sidekicks! The mangas are full of adventure and emotions that everyone would like.

Evil beings inside cards or paintings and the young, upbeat girls s(t)ealing them. Friends, magical helpers and love interests starting off as rivals. Late/mid-90's, well-written mahou shoujo works with pleasing art, cute/cool costumes and good vibes.

Both series are about a magical girl who works alone to seal away harmful artefacts and who comes into contact with a magical boy infringing on her territory who is first a rival, then a friend, and eventually a romantic interest. Both series also include a miniature non-human sidekick, themes of reincarnation, and continuous character development, although KKJ has a stronger focus on the romantic aspects of the series while CCS is more about Sakura's personal mission to seal the cards.

Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Cardcaptor Sakura are two 90s shoujo series that feature a brown-haired magical girl eventually getting a magical boy rival, who just became a recent transfer student in her class. They share the same goal and the rivalry feels a bit brutal at first, but over time they learn to respect and like each other. Among the gorgeous illustrations and character moments are some really goofy comedy as well.
