Very similar in quite a few ways, first being the tone and dynamic of the relationship with the female setting out to hate the male MC but quickly falling for him although in Ai wo Chodai! the female MC does like the male MC at first before the story begins. Also both are Josei that involve a couple who are very busy with their own careers and rarely have time to meet. Finally the male MC's are extremely similar in that in both cases they have been hurt by females in the past and take a very defensive and rude approach to the female MC
