Different premise but both have a similar feeling when it comes to its characters. In fact, both series have a colorful cast of characters that all attend classes for a variety of reasons. The main male protagonist has some influence throughout both series and often gets involved with events relating with other characters. There is a decent amount of comedy present with its dialogues and character interactions. Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom) has an additional element of supernatural while Yankee-kun to Megane-chan (Mr. Delinquent and Miss Glasses) adapts more of a slice of life tone. Yet, both series has a goal relating to their premise.
