Taking place in a school life environment, both series' main male protagonist not only has similar personalities but gets into complicated affairs with others. In general terms speaking, they get dragged into events that they reluctantly participates in alongside the other main characters. Both series' characters in fact has a colorful range of personalities. And while they follow a different set of principles and premise, the comedy has a similar feel. There is also some 'action' that satirizes the typical school life of a young man.
