In both series a boy and a girl end up sitting next to each other and get to know each other better. The guy helps out the girl and vice versa. Both series also deal with the "people are being misunderstood" part, but in a different way. The way main characters communicate is totally different as well in either series so that's the refreshing part if you ever happen to read them both.
