Koe no Katachi

Both involve themes of learning how to communicate and understand others. Both have a girl who was bullied/mistreated by their peers. Both have a slow building relationship between a boy and a girl as well as them building strong relationships with friends. Koe no Katachi is a lot darker in tone and the main character's outlook is pessimistic while Kimi ni Todoke is more lighthearted with an optimistic main character. Both will probably make you cry a little bit.
