A certain dog is rather similiar to a certain cat, both are despairing over their apprentices. Kobato and Misha share a quite similiar personality, both are clumsy but honestly hard-trying and have the task to help people (make them happy) and have to face the same punishment in case they fail.

Both share cute aesthetics and artstyles and both share small plushie dogs too that are sidekicks of the lead characters.

Kobato and Pita-Ten are two episodic/slice-of-life-ish manga about a duo made up of a small male character (a plushie-like dog in Kobato, the MC in Pita-Ten who is a child) and a taller, more naive but well-meaning female character (the MC in Kobato, the self-proclaimed "angel in training" in Pita-Ten). The story starts out with a whole bunch of slice of life-ish scenarios meant to make the reader laugh, but slowly turns into a much more serious story; these two series are a lot more similar than one may think.
