Both have a main character that looks weak, but is in reality, quite powerful. Later on, they both begin two acquire more and newer moves while versing others of different martial art backgrounds.
Both of these series on a meek mc who is actually pretty strong, both take place in more seedy underworld like areas that depict crime, assault and other criminal activity to really drum up some drama.
During both manga, you get to watch as the MC slowly get more and more skilled and strong, as he learns more and more from every opponent he faces off against.
