Since Gakuen Alice is over, you're probably looking for a new fix. Boku no Hero Academia is a shounen manga about a boy who gained superpowers and thus, got into a school for superheroes. They're not regular schools. They are more like schools with students with supernatural powers. Both series' premise consists of characters who trains their abilities with different purposes. The main protagonist from both series has an unnatural gift and catches the eyes of others. There is an abundant amount of characterization and relationship dynamics focused in the story. In addition, we get interpersonal conflicts as well as plot twists that unfold. Although both series has a different style of storytelling, they retain a good amount of content related to their premise.
Both start off as seemingly weak and useless characters and climb their way up and discover new strengths.
Both take place in an academy for super powers/abilities.
Both have good characters and development.
Boku is more shounen however

>Extremely similar premise, where many people exist with incredible abilities. The way the narrative and worldbuilding work with these extremely open ideas is a major part of the series and the viewer's enjoyment.
>Deep plot that gets surprisingly dark for being about children. Explores how those with power use their influence to control those without power.
>Cool action adventure mixed with school hijinks.
