Both are about a somewhat average boy trying to experiment with women, under the guidance of an "expert".
Minamoto-kun Monogatari and Skill of Lure experiments with a main male protagonist who tries to woo women. They have a mentor by their side who gives them advice on how to attract women. And throughout both series, we see how their plans are carried out. Both series adapts romance but with less emphasis on long-term relationships but more so on making the MC into a ladies man.
