Light on romance and drama, heavy on slapstick and gag comedy. Lots of cross-dressing and general flippancy to gender roles. Both leads more or less have a reverse harem of hot guys. Themes of loneliness and finding friends who accept you. Everyone is a complete and utter dork
Both reverse harems with very likable female protagonists. Supporting casts both full of endearing boys. Both are hilarious. Both have the main cast helping other people they meet regularly.
The chapter where Mafuyu and Saeki help out that girl who lives in the mansion really reminded me of ouran because they end up helping her out with her love troubles, in a very ouran fashion.
