Similar sort of humour, and both have strong female leads. Both are very enjoyable too.
Poor heroines , strong both in character and will, with some goal. The last thing they're looking for is love, even when they're surrounded by males attracted to them. A lot of supporting characters with their own time in story.

They both have strong female leads who are indifferent to the boy's affection and they both involve school clubs. Both female characters also have a secret / split life which the guy uses in a sort of nice form of ammunition. Both have animes adaptions as well which are really good. Usui is the "prince" type character from a family which controls him and the fact that he is very talented also makes him similar to Takumi.
Once you read both series it becomes very clear that the author of Kaichou was VERY heavily inspired by Ouran Host Club. In addition to both having strong female leads, both have very similar plot twists. Both use the idea of a host club dynamic- In Kaichou, it's a Maid Cafe, but both groups enjoy having special cosplay events.
The art and humor in both is similar, although in my opinion Ouran is a far more polished and refined manga than Kaichou.
What happens when you put a strong-willed girl with a bunch of guys? If you're curious, then Kaichou wa Maid-sama and Ouran should spark interest when it comes to relationship tropes. Both series adapts a school life setting where the main female character develops various relationships with others. In particular, the main male protagonist is known for their popularity but has a rocky start with the girl. Romance is inevitable as development is focused on their relationship overtime. Both series are also known for its other sub-plots that connects its various characters. Also, expect a decent amount of comedy and gags.

Both of them same the almost similar kind of story. If Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! tells us about maids, Ouran Koukou Host Club tells us about the host.
The female protagonist also shares the same characteristic. Both tells us Mizaki ( Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! ) and Haruhi ( Ouran Koukou Host Club ) work so hard not to depend on someone else. Even they can be so cold to another.
The male protagonist have the same characteristic too. Both of these mangas describe a perfect prince to our Usui ( Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! ) and Tamaki ( Ouran Koukou Host Club ). But, Ouran Koukou Host Club
