Senakagurashi

Cute, non-dramatic, reasonably short stories about couples who practically live together coming to love each other. Bonnouji is the grown-up version of the story; Sengakagurashi is the high school version.
Both are adorable romance stories ***outside of a school environment*** with the same calm, happy feeling to them. They are about people who live close, slowly getting to know each other and becoming attached. They are very lighthearted, chill, and don't have all that much forced drama or conflict that romance mangas like to push in. The difference between these two mangas lies on where Senakagurashi features younger protagonists, who in turn are more shy, simple etc, while in Bonnouji we have older characters who work/study, drink, smoke etc and deal with slightly more mature themes. Both mangas are a breath of fresh air.
