-The heroines are both class presidents and role model student types who somehow take an interest in the male lead who is an outcast/delinquent/misunderstood type.
-Both heroines have the interest to help/take care of others and are kind but still firm.
-Both have nice art and cute scenes; are typical shoujo but still have sweet, slice of life vibes.
-Happy Life Hajimaru is more cliche but still cute
I was reading Happy Life Hajimaru and was sad to see there were only two chapters out so I was glad to have found Hana-kun to Koisuru Watashi because it filled the void that I was craving after reading Happy Life
