The protagonist joins a Hunter Association to become a Hunter and fights off threats to regular humans. Both of the protagonists are described to have outstanding potential. One arc of both of these titles also deals with extremely dangerous evolving ants.
Hunters. Solo Leveling and Hunter x Hunter both follow protagonists who start out as weak, gradually get stronger and stronger along with their epic journey as hunters.
Solo Leveling follows "worlds weakest hunter" Jin-Woo being reawakened after a failed raid attempt, with this, all alone, he levels up higher and higher to become the exact opposite. The same is with Hunter x Hunter but Gon wishes to become a hunter to find his dad. Of course, meaning having to pass incredible difficult challenges to do such a feat.
Both are good actions with Solo Leveling following lone wolf Jin-Woo's level-ups, rather than what Hunter x Hunter brings

i mean both have hunters and both have chimera, what more could you want than to relive the chimera ant arc?
