-Both protagonists start out as country kids before moving into a larger society as a whole and joining an organization that sends them on battle missions
-Both are extremely bloody and gore-filled, adding flare and dramatic impact
-Both deal with similar heavy themes, which I can't disclose here in the interest of not spoiling the story

Crazed. Death, death everywhere. Akame ga Kill and Chainsaw Man both follow a young man trying to make the most of their life when their world does a 180 showing the absolute brutality that comes with their new life.
Akame ga Kill has Tatsumi join Night Raid in various assassinations against the corrupt government. Chainsaw Man has Denji join the Public Safety Bureau in what awaits a world of hell.
Both are good manga with Akame ga Kill being dark fantasy, Chainsaw Man having excessive violence and gore. People dying all around.
