The beginning of the first chapter was practically identical to Kamisama no Iutoori in regards to the school setting and the main character feeling the boredom of life and hoping for something exciting.....and then the teacher explodes and almost everyone in the classroom follow the same fate. However, it doesn't have that zombie aspect and end of the world apocalypse feeling to it that M.S.o.t.E does. Another point of similarity is that they don't camouflage the blood. Gruesome, eccentric games for students at the schools in Kamisama no Iutoori, or freely roaming, blood-and-gut-thirsty puppets in Mahou Shoujo of the End - each world will attempt to cure that boredom and provide gore as entertainment instead of stupid classes or secure jobs! Of course, there is a reason for both worlds to become what they have become - and it will be explored, but only by those who still haven't lost their heads.
