The more I read into HJ the more I'm reminded of DGM
- the main characters look somewhat alike
- the idea of the central supernatural theme being compatible with some people and incompatible with others ie. Innocence (DGM), Eureka (HJ)
- both feature similar organisations ie. White Jokers/ Black Order vs Mavro/Noah Family
- the "heads" of these organisations being alike personality-wise
