Both stories' main themes revolve around the great mysteries of the world creation, dark past, and hidden history. Both have gore scenes and explicit content of devouring people. Both have the subplots that involve hide-and-seek, death of significant characters, and a lot of mind games. Though Yakusoku no Neverland seems to be more childish & optimistic, it still have the same motives of despair and hope, while revealing the darkest secrets of the world as Shingeki no Kyojin possesses.

'Attack on Titan' (Shingeki no Kyojin) plays with similar themes as 'The Promised Neverland' (Yakusoku no Neverland) and elicits the same mixture of feelings within the reader. Both series focus on three main characters (Eren, Mikasa, Armin) in 'Attack on Titan', (Emma, Ray, Norman) in 'The Promised Neverland'. Both stories are about children living in an unfair world where literal monsters are trying to kill and eat them. The premises are different, but much of the effect is the same: the main characters are comparable to human cattle.

Starting from three children who are looking for freedom Shingeki no Kyojin (Armin, Eren, Mikasa), Yakusoku no neverland (Emma, Norman, Ray). Humans isolated from the outside world, live inside walls and only become food for monsters. Starting from an ancestral agreement thousands of years ago, Shingeki no Kyojin with Titan, Yakusoku no neverland with the devil.

There are many mysteries that are overarching throughout the series and very intriguing. Both have demons that want to kill humans, although they are mindless in attack on Titan, and in the promised neverland they are very intelligent and engage the humans in battles of wits. Both have a main trio of characters which kinda resemble each other.

Both manga deal with the same themes of being trapped like a canary in a cage. The difference between both however is that The Promised Neverland is more of a puzzle manga than Attack on Titan, which is an action manga.

+Both have to do with human farming where the main characters have to fight to survive from being eaten, more or less. +The main characters are a trio, one happy-go-lucky, one tough and cold, and the other smart and cunning. Now I wouldn't exactly say they're 100% alike but they're both great trios. +The main characters have to give up a lot through their struggles, to find out secrets, and escape their fate +All main characters (seem to be) children, under 18. Not really persuasive but it provides a sense of sympathy to see these lovable characters go through challenges we wouldn't be able to face.

1.Both comprise of a main group consisting of 2 boys and 1 girl which are surrounded by a huge cast. 2.Both are set in a world where the main cast has the need to find more about the on going situation and are VERRY surprised by the reality of things. 3.The people are surrounded by tall walls.<---this is legit.

A similar start with a small group of people, trying to escape from monsters. As the story progresses similar characters get introduced and we get to know more about the world and setting of the manga in a similar way. Both also have similar time skips and fight scenes.

Both manga focus on some characters that are locked up in a place, with some monsters that try to kill them. The theme of death is widely discussed in both, and the mystery is constantly present.

Both stories tell a tale of a friend group, consisting of three individuals, who wish to seek for freedom behind the walls, where they're being kept in. In both stories, "monsters" try to kill the last humans to eat them. Although "Attack on Titan" consists of darker themes with the protagonist turning into an antihero and more Gore, which isn't the main focus of TPN, the theme of the antihero is being kept alive to an extend within Norman, who tries to mercilessly slaughter the "monsters" to guarantee future survival. In both stories, the protagonists eventually realizer that they aren't the only survivors of humanity, but merely   read more
