The inspiration for Futaba-kun is Ranma! Written by a woman, it has an entirely different feel from this despite sharing the concept of gender changing teenagers involved in combat sports with a complicated love interest and suitors for all genders of the main character. If you like this for the goofy characters and fun scenarios, you'll love Ranma.
