Both Pilgrim Jager and Chevalier D'eon were written by Tou Ubukata, so you're not going to be straying into a different style. The story takes place in Europe in the year 1521, at the time of the Protestant Reformation. Like Chevalier, this manga features historical figures, lots of fighting with demons, and plenty of blood and gore. Like Chevalier, it also features notes in the back for reference on any special terms used.
