Both male leads like to be alone, and have a role of smart male lead and really deductive
*Main male protag likes to solve mysteries
*both can switch from light hearted to heavy detective in a turn of a page
*the romance aspect is really well done with out having to over do it
*both mangaka's are currently sick and can't continue there mangas :p
Smart, Antisocial (and tsundere) main guy meets cheerful, lovable main girl.
Both series are about main guy solving mysteries, falling for a girl that they did not like at the start.
In both the main male character is ostracized by his classmates, but his friendship with the main female character helps him to make friends and be accepted by others.

In both mangas, the main characters want to be isolated from everyone due to events that have occurred in their past (One wants to remain unexposed, and one wants to not get along people in fear of them possibly dying). In addition, the main heroine of each manga gets along with the main character even after the circumstances. One more thing to note is that both mangas are mystery mangas where the main character solves most of the cases in really interesting ways.
