Both Yona of the Dawn and Boukoku no Marguerite are stories about deposed princesses. Yona is old enough that when her father loses the throne, she journeys with her trusted knight and finds the legendary dragons. Boukoku no Marguerite is not a mythical story. Marguerite is a child when her country is taken over and while running away with her nanny she is rescued by a retired knight who raises her as his son until she’s too old to conceal anymore.
