Behold the hand of justice. Kurosawa, like Light, is a smart, stoic, bored student with a superiority complex and a negative view of the world, driven by his own based sense of righteousness. Dissing and ignoring his conformist fellows, our misanthropic anti-hero takes pleasure in eleborating wicked schemes to get rid of evil individuals - be it with ink or jizz. Despite its blatant parody vibe (including Kira's 'just as planned' face), Onanie Master shares the psychological aspects of Death Note, depicting dramatic situations where the characters have to deal with actions, consequences and punishments.

Onani Master Kurosawa is basically death note, except about masturbation. The main character looks and acts exactly like Light, down to his"Just as planned" face. The idea is crude, but this short dj title is an excellent parody of the DN style. A must read for anyone who liked Death Note, but never took it too seriously.

main characters resemble each other a lot in the way they speak and their personality.

Death Note shares with its parody Onani Master Kurosawa the same theme of punishing evildoers, although the way both series's protagonists do their trick are largely different -- while Death Note features a hyper-intelligent murderer, Onani Master Kurosawa spotlights a cynical masturbator.

Well, OMK is a parody of Death Note for most of the first half. Lonely twisted boy decides to pull pranks on others and ends up with karma.

This seems to be the biggest inspiration to Onanie Master Kurosawa. Psychological mangas about apathetic guys who enjoy punishing people with their own justice.

They both have similar main characters. Both of them show their own idea of justice, that isn't wrong nor right. The story follows their journey of actualizing that justice in real life, which isn't acceptable by the majority of the society. It was dark, but really interesting! You keep wanting to read for more since you would be curious of seeing how it would unfolds.

It's basically a parody of Death Note. The MC in Master Kurosawa is pretty similar to Light, in his internal monologues and behavior. There's also Death Note references all over (Exactly as planned!). Read this if you're like me and always looking for Death Note memes
