Both light novels revolve around the theme of novels, but execute this theme in slightly different ways. In Biblia, the storyline of each chapter correspond to a particular piece of literature that is mentioned in its chapter title; In Dantalion, the outcome of each sub-story usually correspond to the ending of the fairy tale internal to Dantalion's world. While Biblia's setting is in the modern world without out of ordinary event, Dantalion unfolds in a fantasy world full of magic and other oddities.
