Kimi no Tame ni Hiku Chopin is basically the shoujo version of Hikaru no Go. One is about Go and the other about piano, but they share the same premise of ghosts of a famous real life genius of the past teaches a complete novice their profession while at constant risk of being discovered for having some hidden supernatural talent. Hikaru no Go, being shounen, focuses on competition, rivals, and training, while Kimi no Tame ni Hiku Chopin is more concerned with romance.
