Essentially, they both deal with deep and dark concepts and show how someone like a teacher can help save the lives of students. Both mangas were really raw and contained a lot of teachings that could be applied to many situations in life.

Similarities: Both manga follow the structure of different stories every couple chapters. They both aim to show a message or teach a lesson about the world. They handle dark themes regarding what categorizes a person as good or bad and if it is possible to be redeemed. The stories are told and messages are shown through teenagers who are trying to figure out what kind of person they want to be.
Differences: Yomawari Sensei has a greater emphasis on the role of adults in leading children, whether they have guided them properly or if they have failed them. In contrast, Koko wa Ima kara Rinri desu
