Duo of protagonists travel the country to collect certain items. Both of these works feature interesting original concepts, and the fights have more dimension than just show of strenght and often the battles are way for the characters to grow.
Both stories are excellent mission-oriented, two buddies, pulling together the bits of something. Both series contain cleverly well-researched fights with unique characters that develop amazingly.
