Kareshi has two people who save each other from themselves and is a funny cute story and then dives into deep problems and brings up heavy issues like monopolizing, rape, pregnancy and still stays a crazy light love story. Boyfriend is a bit different and goes more into sports, it also runs into heavy problems like death and leaving and still has me feeling like its a light love story. They are both very good.
