Both have the feel and design of traditional J-RPGs but Monster Collection feels more like an RPG like Final Fantasy X where the plot deviates from old school J-RPGs whereas Fire Emblem: Hasha no Tsurugi feels like a J-RPG with 2d sprite characters... Do you get my point? :-)
