Ningen Konchuuki

Both are mature works from Tezuka-sensei. Both are to some degree character studies of deeply flawed individuals. There are scenes of homosexuality in each, though much more in MW.
Both of these series are by Osamu Tezuka and both series main characters are serial killers with rather complicated past lives. Both characters aren't afraid to manipulate the world around them to get what they want. Ningen Konchuuki is shorter than MW however, only a few chapters long. MW is also much more developed than Ningen Konchuuki was to me (personally).
