The settings are completely different, but both mangas present a vast cast of characters with so much depth and development through the series, specially both main characters, they evolve physically and psychologically becoming also fearless leaders, the only difference is that Xin already has defined goals early in the first episodes while Kaneki's path is unsure most of the time.
