For me, one of the best works of Kazuo Kamimura, tells also the story of an out-of-society woman and in some chapters we can also see in the background the poverty in Japan and the post-war occupation troops. It's also a revenge story that I personally enjoyed a lot with one of the finest arts I've seen in classic manga.
If you liked Shouwa Ichidai Onna, you will deifinitely love Shurayuki-hime.
