Supernatural manga from the 60s with a protagonist of peculiar birth circumstances who fights against yokai and/or other apparitions from Japanese mythology. The art often switches between cartoonish looking characters and gags to more detailed drawings of landscapes and monsters. Osamu Tezuka said that he was inspired by Mizuki’s GeGeGe no Kitaro when he created Dororo.
