Zetman and desert punk share the same fascination for deserted places made out of concrete, and in the later parts of desert punk there's quite a similarity to the storytelling where longer tightly woven plot is unfolding. Also the pacing is a bit similar wheve both move quite slowly forward but still are full of action. Zetman is very serious though, and desert punk have its fair share of comedy, but believe me when I say that desert punk gets way more serious (and "seinenish") after a few volumes. Both are of course awesome mangas as well.
