Dekiai Rule

The arc "First Love", from Borderline, is similar to Dekiai Rule. In both stories, there's a student x teacher pairing where the student has a one-sided love for the teacher and forces himself onto them, thinking this is what love is, only to realise that love it not just about sex, and with time and patience comes acceptance and eventually love.
In both, the student tries many times to convince the teacher to sleep with them and is rejected. Also, in both mangas, the student's are both "loose" and eventually become celibate to prove to the teacher that they do, in fact, love them.
