Protagonists merges with a demon to be able to fight against demons. Both have high level violence (pushing the boundaries of what is even allowed in a shounen magazine), discard plot armor for characters and have beautifully tragic final arcs.
Similar premise and main characters in terms of personality. Both are super violent and have a normal guy get a devils power. He stops other devils with the power.

Both feature human/devil hybrids. Both are gorey with slightly cerebral elements both feature themes of nihilism. Both feature highly manipulative love interest vying for attention.
Devilman is the great great grandfather of chainsaw man
both protagonists are 16 year old who where possesed by the most powerful demon (kinda) and become demon hunters, both antagonists are the devil in person and are gory, brutal and fucking badass stories
Maybe the plot is not the same as Chainsaw man, but they have many points in common: first, the protagonist becomes part demon and part human; a betrayal that I will not mention here; tragedies and being violent manga published in teen magazines.
you like one or the other more, both sleeves are of great quality and very memorable
