Atmosphere quite similar, being that the story takes place mostly of time in their respective clubs. Kazama is a delinquent, while Kodaka is mistaken for one, and both have a hallmark with their hair. The two series are replete with humor, with hilarious situations in the daily life of the characters.
They're both about weird clubs, particularly where one guy is dragged into it and joined by a bunch of weird girls. Both feature an interesting cast of characters and a cute art style. One major difference between the two is that D-Frag! is much more clean and Haganai...isn't.
