You can see how Tenshi inspired Kimi ga. Both stories have a mature man who loses his family, due to which slowly, he starts noticing (romantically) the presence of another (flamboyant) man in his life. This man is quite open about his feelings for our MC, who eventually accepts his feelings only towards the end of the manga. Both manga also have complex character developments, which is a complete bonus!
