There's maybe a thing that Niko Tanigawa really likes about weird quirky girls (and honestly can't blame them) since most of their important works involve one way or another this type of character, this is of course present in both of these series, besides the comedy that mostly focuses on social anxiety, there's also a sort of romance plot with the protagonists that it's not too important nor it's giving too much screen unless it's to make a joke. Probably the main difference is that Kuzo to... Has three main protagonists instead of two.
