Ironically, they both have "stray dogs" in the name, and they also have a pretty similar setting and general feel and art style, with deep shadows, light tone-work and minimalist backgrounds. Both take place in a somewhat corrupt city mostly run by gangsters or mafia that gives the impression that it could be anywhere without really naming the city. The characters are mostly badasses fighting against the mafia, although Dogs (and it's continuation Dogs: Carnage And Bullets) features a group of slightly insane characters with superhuman skills who work together by chance, and Bungou resolves around an agency of "Armed Detectives" with special abilities who
