The last of humanity fighting a mysterious enemy. Sidonia's story is paced better/faster than Titan and introduces new plot points regularly to keep you interested. Sidonia is like Titan in space with mechs and a stronger plot and characters. I feel like Sidonia accomplishes what Titan is trying to do much better.

It is a time where the human race is being exterminated and hunted by dreadful abominations. The final bastions of humanity stand up to make their last desperate fight for their survival. The difference between Shingeki and Sidonia is that the former is set in a medieval fantasy world in a fight against Giants, while the latter is a fight against aliens called Gauna (with amazing regenerative abilities) in outer space.

The fight for survival begins! Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) and Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia) both deals with a setting in which humanity is being threatened by an entity capable of wiping them from existence forever. The mysterious enemies involved in both series are aggressive and attacks humanity with no warning on various occasions. As such, resistance is formed as humanity takes a stand against this mysterious enemy. It's a fight to survive.

Both manga have a post-apocalyptic setting where the human race is on the brink of extinction and is under attack by an unknown destructive species that are shrouded in mystery. Sidonia no kishi is a lot more straight forward than Attack on Titan and just passes by as a sci-fi action manga with fast paced battles. In contrast, Attack on Titan tries to be a little more psychological, mysterious and has more focus on world building but still retains the hectic action similar to Sidonia. Although both don't focus on characterization, the cast of Attack on Titan is a little more fleshed out than the   read more
