Both are fairly offbeat yaoi with different-than-usual characters and a slightly twisted type of humour, which is pretty hilarious at some points ("Clara" in Kigeki, the overprotective brother in Kizudarake, for example). Both mangaka seem to relish getting dirty and to prefer the body's reality over girls' dreams, so you're more likely to find the occasional pubic hair than decorative dreamy flowers. The focus in both books is more on the exploration of a particular kind of love between two people instead of fulfilling a fluff or smut quota.
