Both are based on famous periods in Chinese history. Both have a heavy emphasis on generalship, philosophy, and warfare. Stylistically, they are both among the more unique of comic kind, with Kingdom opting for a more bold brush stroke style, and RoT opting for an exaggerated realist aesthetic. Both are equally good.
