Both are historical mangas covering the aspect of ancient feudal warfare in the Sengoku era of Japan and Three Kingdoms period in China respectively. In Path of the Assassin, ninjas work behind the scenes to carry out political assassinations and sabotage, while in The Ravages of Time, there's a group of mercenary assassins called the Handicapped Warriors doing the dirty work. PotA focuses on the exploits of Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hattori Hanzo exclusively, while TRoT gives a more rounded coverage of the various warring factions. (Please be warned that there are a lot of sexual content in Path of the Assassin.)
